เรื่องย่อ
    เป็นเรื่องของสามีภรรยาคู่หนึ่ง  หนิงเเละกวิน ที่ต้องการย้ายไปอยู่คอนโดเเละปล่อยบ้านให้คนอื่นเช่า โดยหารู้ไม่ว่าผู้เช่ารายใหม่ที่เข้ามาเช่านั้น มีปูมหลังที่ดำมืดเเละไม่ธรรมดา พร้อมกับพิธีกรรมประหลาดๆสุดหลอนที่มีครอบครัวของ หนิงเเละกวิน เข้ามาเกี่ยวโยงด้วย

    ยอมรับว่าผมชอบบทของเรื่องนี้เเละการดำเนินเรื่องที่ใครๆหลายคนบ่นๆกันว่ามันไปเอื่อยตอนท้าย เเต่ผมว่าไม่เอื่อยนะกลับชอบเสียด้วยซ้ำ 55555 เพราะเอาเข้าจริงบทตอนเเรกๆผมว่ามันก็เเค่ผีหลอกเเล้วไล่ล่า เเต่บทหลังๆต่างหากที่สำคัญว่าความเป็นมามันคืออะไร เพราะมันจะนำพาให้เราไปรู้จักการกระทำของเเต่ละตัวละครว่ามีเหตุเเละผลในการกระทำอย่างไร ทำไมถึงทำอย่างนี้เเละพิธีกรรมนี้มีที่มาที่ไปมาอย่างไร ซึ่งตรงนี้เเหละที่หนังจะเริ่มย้อนให้เราเห็นความเป็นมาของเเเต่ละคนไล่เลียงจนมาถึงเหตุการปัจจุบัน ซึ่งผมว่ามันเเหวกเเนวสำหรับหนังไทยดี เพราะไม่ค่อยเห็นหนังไทยเล่าเรื่องเเบบนี้สักเท่าไหร่ ส่วนใหญ่จะเล่าเป็นเส้นตรงเรียงทามไลน์ไปเลย อันนี้ถือว่าผมชอบ เเละดูไปมันก็ไม่ได้ขัดอารมณ์เหมือนที่คนอื่นเป็นนะ  แต่ใช่ครับ กราฟอารมณ์มันอาจจะตกลงเรื่องความตื่นเต้นเร้าใจในตอนเเรก ที่ผมคิดว่าหลายๆคนอาจจะติดกลิ่นของหนังผีไทยสมัยก่อนๆที่ค่อยๆไต่ระดับความพีคขึ้นเรื่อยๆ เเต่สำหรับบ้านเช่าบูชายัญ ความพีคมันอยู่ตรงที่การเฉลยปมต่างๆ กับการเล่าเชื่อมเนื้อเรื่องนี่เเหละ เพราะผมชอบที่มาที่ไปของมันมากกว่าการหลอกผีในเรื่องเสียอีก  เเละบทมันก็ค่อนข้างมีเหตุผลการกระทำอยู่พอสมควรเลย ซึ่งตรงนี้ดีมากๆกับบทหนังที่เกลี่ยมาดี เเละอุดช่องโหว่ของเหตุการได้เกือบทั้งหมด
